The Performing Arts Council’s Classical Series concludes its season on Sunday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel. We will present a trio of string players from the District Strings group based in Washington, D.C. On violin will be Dr. Mark Schuppener; on viola, Dr. Kimia Hesabi; and on cello, Erin Snedecor. Each one is a very experienced performer, having played with multiple musical groups at a high level.
The program will include pieces by Caroline Shaw, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert, Ernő Dohnányi, Mark O’Connor, and William Ryden. These selections range from the classical to the contemporary.
Those who have not subscribed to the entire Classical Series may purchase tickets for this performance at the door for $10.00, while they last.
