CEC looks for help with Spring registration

By Continuing Education Committee

The Riderwood Continuing Education Committee (CEC) needs help during registration for Spring Trimester 2020 PGCC classes.

Registration is scheduled for Wednesday, January 29, 2020, and during registration, CEC will hold a help session in the Town Center Celebrations Room and the Village Square computer room. Help with registration is available for those residents who do not register themselves online.

We need volunteers for the help session to sign up for two-hour shifts starting at 8:15 a.m. We need residents to assist with computer entry for courses, with managing the lines, and with checking PGCC passwords for residents who do not already have blue cards indicating that their user names and passwords are correct. Doing computer entry and checking passwords requires basic computer skills, but if you register yourself on the PGCC website, you can do this job, and we can provide detailed written instructions. The other job requires diplomatic “people skills.”

If you are willing to help, please contact Robert Boger, CEC registration coordinator, at bogerrc@msn.com or (301) 326-1874.
