December brings many traditions. The first Acousti-Cat sing-a-long took place in December 2011. Eight years later, in 2019, Riderwood’s ukulele band returns again with songs for several traditions on Sunday, December 15 at 3:00 p.m. in the Encore theater. The program opens with songs about winter. “Let It Snow” and” Winter Wonderland” are favorites in this part of the program. Hanukkah finds dreidels spinning. The Christmas collection includes solos by Carol Price and Paul Rohr. “Silent Night” and “O Christmas Tree” are the most loved songs for Christmas. Kwanzaa is the last featured tradition with songs like “Go Tell It on the Mountain” from the African American tradition.
The show time is perfect, so invite your family to join in this festive traditional sing-a-long.
