Flag Day is a patriotic American holiday, celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the Flag of the United States. Here at Riderwood, we celebrate Flag Day every year, led by our Veterans Legacy Group. Join us on Friday, June 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Flag Pole outside of Village Square and at 2:00 p.m. in the Arbor Ridge Garden Room to celebrate our Stars and Stripes. We’ll have an invocation by Rev. James Bell, a welcome from our Veterans Legacy Group, the Proclamation of Flag Day, Call to Colors and Raising of the Flag. Also hear the Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem, as well as a sing-a-long.
Come out to celebrate Flag Day at Riderwood.
