Riderwood will again be privileged to host a chamber music recital presented by participants in the National Orchestral Institute at the University of Maryland. These young musicians are chosen to participate in the program at the University through nationwide competitive auditions, and many go on to enjoy successful professional careers.
The NOI concerts, which are led by renowned conductors, are held each year in June on the University of Maryland campus in the Clarice Smith Music Center. For the last several years, we have enjoyed involving these future music makers of the country in our Performing Arts presentations.
This year the concert will be held in the Riderwood Chapel on Sunday. June 23, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free – no tickets required. Set aside the date now for a lovely evening of music.
