Rock & Roll is coming to Riderwood

Time to rock ‘n’ roll when “dc rider” performs in the Encore Theater at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 28 (Doors open at 2:15 p.m.). The concert, titled Music We Grew Up To, is sponsored by the Riderwood Genealogy Club. The band will perform original songs including the haunting Radio Flyer as well as familiar tunes from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s.

The band includes Riderwood resident Patrick A. Curtis, vocals, harp, lyrics; Ray Fields, synthesizer, composer; Berin Uriegas, lead guitar, vocals; Patricia Esslinger, bass guitar, vocals; and Robby Brewer, drums.

The concert is free. Bring your kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. The band will distribute free tickets to the concert in each of four dining halls. The times and dates are: 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. April 22 (Lakeside Commons), April 23 (Montgomery Station), April 24 (Town Center), and April 25 (Village Square). The band is in need of ushers.
