Dr. Vik Uberoi, M.D will give a presentation on Bladder Health at the Riderwood Health Forum, at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 18, 2019, in the Village Square Music Room.
Dr. Vik Uberoi practices general urology and focuses on robotic surgery of the prostate, kidney, ureters, and bladder. He specializes in advanced treatments for large and complex kidney stones. In addition, Dr. Uberoi provides preventive care for patients with kidney stones through medical metabolic management. He also focuses on ureteral strictures, enlarged prostate (BPH) and erectile dysfunction. He is a frequent speaker on urological issues and has published articles in multiple medical journals on urological topics.
Dr. Uberoi graduated from Emory University with a degree in chemistry and political science and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland school of medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at Boston University medical center and a fellowship in endourology at Cedars Sinai medical center. (Endourology is the branch of urology that deals with the closed manipulation of the urinary tract and includes all urologic minimally-invasive surgical procedures.)
