On Sunday evening, January 6, the Friday Morning Music Club concert will present a fun mixture of classical chamber music blended with new music (is twentieth-century music still considered new?).
Sergei Prokofiev’s exciting clarinet sonata, which is one of this great Russian master’s major works from the early 20th century, will constitute the second half of the program. In the first half, acclaimed classical guitarist Branimir Krstic will perform his own compositions, as well as several pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach which are reflected through his inventive and whimsical genius.
We are fortunate to have such great music performed for us by world-class musicians. The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel, with doors open at 7:00 p.m. No tickets are necessary.
