Director, Riderwood GraceNotes
Mark your calendars for the GraceNotes’ winter concert! Two performances will be given, both in the Riderwood Chapel: Thursday, December 6, at 7:30 p.m. and Friday, December 7, at 3:30 p.m. Doors open a half hour before the concerts. Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted, and any amounts over the GraceNotes operating costs will be donated to the Riderwood Benevolent Care Fund.
The program will include selections from Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, Rachmaninoff’s Six Choruses for Women, and Samuel Adler’s The Flames of Freedom: A Hanukkah Celebration. Other works will include an African-American spiritual, an English madrigal, and traditional carols from England, France, and Germany. Our very own accompanist, Elizabeth White, will present a special solo on piano.
The GraceNotes, Riderwood’s women’s chorus, presents two concerts a year, one in the spring and one for the winter holidays. The GraceNotes are directed by William Wisnom and accompanied by Elizabeth White. Residents interested in joining should contact Elizabeth d’Entremont at
