Residents & guests get crackin’ at Crab Feast

The Riderwood Dining Services team hosted the annual Crab Feast in Maryland Hall on October 3. Residents, staff, and guests were invited to enjoy a plethora of Maryland crabs along with a collection of other crab feast favorites including chicken tenders, corn on the cob, watermelon, and brownies. The event was attended by over 150 residents and guests. This is an annual event so be on the lookout for information about next year’s event. (Photos by Avedis Aghguiguian)

Autumnal colors begin to show around the campus

While the first official day of fall was September 22, some unseasonably warm temperatures combined with lots of rain have put a delay on the appearance of the autumnal hues on the trees of Riderwood. As of the end of October, only some of the leaves have begun their chromatic progression. That didn’t stop the Riderwood grounds team from dressing the campus for the cooler temperatures that signal the beginning of the fall. (Photos by Chris Taydus)
