PAC Classical Concerts
The Performing Arts classical music season will begin in November 2018 and run through June 2019. The paid subscription series begins on November 4 with David Chentian, cello, and continues with a wind trio from the Third Millennium Ensemble on February 10 and the Bard Conservatory string quintet on April 7.
Subscriptions to the Classical Concert Series will again be available. A subscription for all three concerts costs $15.00, or a resident may pay $8.00 at the door for each individual concert (on a space available basis). Subscriptions will be sold in all dining room lobbies on Monday September 24, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Or you may pay, from today until October 15, by sending a check for $15.00, payable to PAC, to Susan Rogers, CL621, by intercampus mail. The subscriptiton option will close on October 15. Tickets for the series will then be printed and distributed. Thereafter, $8.00 tickets will be sold at the door for each individual concert.
Don’t forget to watch for our free concerts. Courtesy of the Washington Friday Morning Music Club (FMMC), we will be offering three free classical concerts on January 6, March 3 and May 5. We will also host a program by National Orchestral Institute student ensembles on June 9.
All of these concerts will be held on Sunday evenings in the Riderwood Chapel, starting at 7.30. Doors do not usually open before 7.00 to allow time for the artists to rehearse.
