Christina Grigorian, a Republican candidate from Maryland for the United States Senate, will address the Republican Club on Thursday, May 3, at 2:30 p.m. in the Village Square Music Room.
Mrs. Grigorian, a Baltimore native, earned her bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in education from George Washington University. She graduated with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1996 and was presented with an award given annually to the outstanding member of the graduating law school class whose leadership, scholarship, and moral character are representative of the high ideals of the legal profession.
Currently, Christina is partner in the Katten Muchin Roseman law firm in Washington, D.C., her practice focused on banking and finance. She has been active in community organizations and has assumed leadership roles in connection with numerous volunteer commitments. She resides in Bethesda with her husband, Chris, and their three teenaged children.
Christina is the only woman running for the Republican nomination. There is currently no woman representing Maryland in the U.S. Congress. She will speak about her candidacy and why she is qualified to be the next United States Senator from the State of Maryland.
