Our community is fortunate to have residents like you! You make generous gifts of your time, talent and treasure. You nurture community spirit by helping people. You delight in sharing. You make our community great!

Many residents are also devoted to Riderwood’s future and a legacy for Riderwood. This is altruism in its purest form. You give knowing that your benevolence will help another in the future, but you will not see the results of your kindness.

A legacy gift is established today as a pledge but will take effect after the donor’s lifetime. You do not need tremendous wealth to consider a legacy gift; there are many options for planned gifts to fit your needs. Legacy gifts allow you to support the mission while having peace of mind that your assets are available for you during your lifetime.

If you feel that leaving a legacy gift to Riderwood would be meaningful to you please contact Fiona Divecha, Resident Life Manager, at 301-572-8396 to discuss your desires. We can make arrangements (from simple to complex) that will allow you to give in the most effective and beneficial manner for your estate.

We will add your name to a leaf on our legacy tree in honor of your dedication to our community’s growth. The next induction of Legacy Society members will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at 2:00 p.m. in Lakeside Commons.
