Quality is a high priority for the General Services team and we are focused on the total resident experience. The White Glove Initiative was created to ensure follow-up, follow-through, and accountability for the work provided through General Services. From the start of the New Year, we have enhanced our work order process for residents to have a personable experience and to make certain that residents are satisfied with the services rendered.
We have had a few logistical issues that we have worked past, and we are focusing on maximizing service opportunities.
The White Glove Service is ONLY for General Service needs (Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, Engineering, Parking, Storage, Treasure Chest, Lions Club Donations and Guest Rooms). Each building has an assigned Coordinator and there is a new call-in format for each building and service. To start, residents can call General Services at 301-572-8355, the press one of the following numbers to access the coordinator or service they need:
• Village Square residents, press 1 for Duane.
• Montgomery Station residents, press 2 for Danielle.
• Town Center residents, press 3 for Rita.
• Lakeside Commons residents, press 4 for Par.
• For Guest Rooms or Cot Rentals, press 5.
• To schedule a Treasure Chest pick up, press 6.
• To purchase Gift Certificates, press 7.
The General Services coordinators are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you have a housekeeping or maintenance emergency after hours, or on the weekend, please call your front desk at 301-572-1300.
