The ELVT team is busy planning the Diversity Fair that takes place on Wednesday, September 27. There will be registration forms available at all front desks beginning the week of July 31. We welcome you to share your heritage, nationality, religion, culture, political values, unique experiences, and more! Please call ELVT Chair Anita James at 301-572-8399 or ELVT Vice Chair Heather Hicks-Mello at 301-572-2074 if you have any questions.
The Erickson Living value for the month of August is “Responsibility,” which models the following ethical behavior:
- Taking personal accountability for actions and behaviors
- Practicing good stewardship when using the organization’s resources
- Ensuring that issues are resolved with a sense of urgency and addressed in a timely manner
It is evident that the staff at Riderwood demonstrates this value of responsibility throughout the year, which is why Riderwood was voted one of the top places to work! Anytime you see a staff member going above and beyond while demonstrating the Erickson Living Values, especially showing good responsibility, please consider nominating them for an Erickson Living Values Award.
Nominations can be sent in via e-mail to RVWELVAwardNominees@erickson.com or by filling out the form available on community bulletin boards. The completed forms can be turned in to the Human Resources department. The winner receives $100 and a day off with pay and our staff greatly appreciates this recognition. Please go out and nominate today!
