Patsy’s coming to Riderwood

On June 16 at 7:30 p.m., residents will be treated to a lively evening of old and new
favorites that will keep your feet tapping and hands clapping in the Encore Theater.
Patsy’s Honky Tonk Torch & Twang is well-known in the Baltimore/Washington area music scene, offering a unique combination of country music, jazz standards, western swing, some rockabilly, and lots of Patsy Cline. Hence the group name.

Patsy Stevens and the members of her group, Chris and Chick Hall, Jr. (aka the Hall Brothers), were nominated for a Wammie for Best Country Band in 2014. Their awards or Best Country Band, Best Country Vocalist, and Best Country Instrumentalist speak to
their unusual “fetching” presentation and considerable talent.

Rounding out the three principals are Tommy Auldridge on pedal steel and Mike Toole on drums. Tickets will be sold in all dining room lobbies on June 12 and 13 from 4:30-6:00 p.m.
