On Sunday, June 11, chamber musicians from the National Orchestral Institute at the University of Maryland will present a concert of diverse selections of classical music in the Chapel at Riderwood. The previous three presentations of these young musicians have provided a delightful hour of music for our residents.
This month-long program at the University includes three concerts conducted by prominent artists. The young participants are selected through national auditions. Now celebrating its 30th season, the Institute has helped nurture an entire generation of American orchestral musicians. Our chamber music presentation is part of the Institute’s outreach program.
