The 3rd Annual Winter Putterland Tournament was held on Wednesday, February 22nd hosted by Charlestown Retirement Community. Riderwood residents had a blast competing in 18 holes of miniature golf against Charlestown, Greenspring and Oak Crest and won first place bringing home the trophy! It was a great time by all who attended and gave Riderwood an opportunity to socialize with other residents from their sister communities while having fun and making friends. Many who attended marveled at the theme displays for each golf hole built by the residents of Charlestown’s woodshop. The afternoon concluded with a delicious hot lunch and announcements for raffle prize winners along with the first place winner for the Putterland Tournament – Riderwood! All proceeds went to benefit Charlestown’s Benevolent Care Fund.

Be on the lookout for next year’s tournament to be announced late January 2018. All residents are encouraged to participate, have fun and help Riderwood bring home the trophy again! Congratulations to our Riderwood Miniature Golfers!
