Caring for an aging loved one is a necessary but difficult task. Would you like to learn more about ways to manage and reduce the stress associated with caring for your loved one? Join Jennifer FitzPatrick of Jenerations Health Education Inc., along with members of the Social Work and Arbor Ridge Admissions teams, for a presentation on 5 Simple Ways to Reduce Caregiver Stress.
Jennifer FitzPatrick will discuss both the realities of caregiver stress and the effects that it has on families. This interactive program will help families and caregivers reduce some of the major stressors involved in the caring for a loved one, while also addressing the effects on those receiving the care. Jennifer is the author of Cruising through Caregiving: Reducing the Stress of Caring for Your Loved One, and will be signing copies of her book, followed by a Q&A to review many of your frequently asked questions. For the convenience of residents and visitors, the event will be offered on two separate dates: Thursday, February 16th from 7:00-8:30pm & Friday, February 17th from 10:00-11:30am in the Montgomery Station’s Maryland Hall.
