During Some Enchanted Evening — January 27, 2017– you will marvel at the variety of talent among Riderwood’s residents and staff. This special show, benefitting the Benevolent Care Fund, once called the “Riderwood Variety Show” has a new title: “Some Enchanted Evening”.
This name change came about when, after auditions, planners saw the broad variety of the resident and staff talent being showcased.
Contributing to that enchanting result will be:
- a performance that was banned by the Czechoslovakian communist regime in 1948.
- performers who have appeared at the Kennedy Center and in major concert venues all over the US and in other countries.
- three forms of dance, two styles of comedy and several individual soloists.
- 16th century music. Mark your calendar for the show and the ticket sales.
The performance will be on Friday, January 27, at 7:30pm (doors open at 7pm) in the Lakeside Commons Encore Theater. Five-dollar tickets will be sold on Monday, January 23 and Tuesday, January 24 from 4:00 – 6:30pm in the lobbies (outside the dining areas) of Village Square, Town Center, Montgomery Station, and Lakeside Commons.
